They haven’t been so bold as to try and replicate the red soles, so at least part of this shoe is markedly different from the masterpiece that inspired it – but we think that River Island’s pink studded court shoe from the spring summer 2013 collectino is quite a strong legit copy of Christian Louboutin’s Pigalle spiked shoe in the season’s must have pale rose pink.At £65, its cost is just a fraction of that of the original Pigalle Spike, which will set you back a meaty £735 over at Net-a-Porter. This makes it a great choice for anyone who loves this look, but not quite enough to want to re-mortgage their house in order to get it.
The colouration of the River Island shoe is a lot more neutral and beige toned than Louboutin’s pink Pigalle, but it’s a subtle shade that’s going to be huge next season, and the plainness will make it an effortless clothing match. We particularly love the way the studs have been made up in the exact same shade, giving it an attention to detail that’s great quality for the high street. The uppers are made from real leather too, so they should last and continue to look great well into the summer season.

jimenaParticipantI don’t like the weird off cream colour of the river island ones. I’m really surprised that river islands has got away with this I thought that this would be to derivative.
