Don’t buy shoes from Amazon!

Alright, listen up, lasses! If you’re on the hunt for a fresh pair of running shoes, don’t even think about turning to Amazon. Why? ‘Cause all ya gonna find is a load of bollocks Chinese brands that’ll fall apart quicker than a soggy biscuit.

Seriously, who the hell has even heard of “Linenghs” or “ZMBCYG” before? They sound like something a cat coughed up! Yet, these shoes are Amazon’s top-rated running shoes. What a bloody joke! You can find the exact same shoes being sold on Alibaba, the Chinese wholesale website for much less. But, of course, Amazon wants to make a quick buck off of unsuspecting consumers.

Most people are lazier than a sloth when it comes to online shopping. They’ll just pick the first result that pops up, without doin’ any research. So, Amazon is takin’ full advantage of this laziness and pushing their Chinese crap to the top.

The problem with these cheap Chinese shoes is not only their questionable quality but also the ethical concerns behind making them. It’s just plain wrong to support the exploitation of workers by buyin’ products made in sweatshops with poor working conditions and low wages. And let’s not forget about the environmental damage caused by the toxic materials used in the production of these shoddy shoes.

And who’s to blame for this? That greedy bugger, Jeff Bezos. That’s right, the same Jeff Bezos who’s worth over $200 billion and spends his cash sending giant penis-shaped rockets up into space. He really couldn’t give two shits about the quality of the products he’s selling. He’s empowering these Chinese sellers to flood his rip-off marketplace with their cheap, crappy shoes. And, guess what? Consumers are getting ripped off left, right and centre cuz of it.

But, it’s not just the consumers who are getting screwed over. What about the legit shoe brands here in the UK? They’re losing out on sales ’cause Amazon is pushing these Chinese fakes to the top of the search results. It’s not fair, and it’s not right.

It’s time for us as consumers to be more aware and conscious of our purchases. Instead of blindly trusting Amazon’s rankings, we should do our research and support ethical and sustainable brands. Let’s not let our laziness and ignorance perpetuate a cycle of exploitation and environmental harm.

Do yourself a favour and don’t fall for Amazon’s scam. Buy your running shoes from a legit running shop or website. You’ll get better quality shoes that will actually last, and you won’t be supporting a greedy bastard like Jeff Bezos. It’s a win-win situation, people!

So, before you make a purchase, consider not only the price tag but also the impact it has on our world. Let’s make ethical choices and do our part to make the world a better place. Cheers!

  1. I totally agree! Amazon is putting these Chinese sellers in front of proper brands and it’s all about money. They don’t care about ripping people off with this cheap rubbish. I mean, have you seen the reviews? They’re all like ‘these shoes fell apart after one run’ or ‘I got blisters all over my feet.’ It’s ridiculous.

  2. Ugh, I tried to save a few bucks and bought some from Amazon but ended up with a pair of shoes that literally fell apart as soon as I put them on. And don’t even get me started on how they looked. They were like some sort of weird knockoff of a knockoff of a knockoff. I swear I’ve seen better shoes at a dollar store.

  3. YUP! We have to think about the environmental impact of these cheap shoes. They’re made from such cheap materials that they’re not even recyclable. And who knows what kind of chemicals are in them. We need to start thinking about the bigger picture here.

    • Preach, girl. It’s like Amazon is trying to sell us on this idea that we’re getting a deal, but in reality, we’re just contributing to a major problem. I mean, if we keep buying these cheap, disposable products, we’re just going to end up with a planet full of trash.

  4. Bought 2 pairs loafer type shoes. Total rubbish shoes smell horrible. Avoid shoes that seem very cheap. Also avoid sites with no reviews, and you find no way of leaving a review or contacting sales team. Don’t waste your money
