#1 New Balance 520v8 Running Shoes
I recently got my hands on the New Balance 520v8 Running Shoes for Men and let me tell you, they are brilliant. These bad boys are the perfect blend of comfort and style!
Now, I know what you’re thinking. “But how do they fit?” Let me tell you, I was worried about that too. But when they arrived and I slipped them on, they fit like a dream. It was like they were made for my feet. And the sole? So. Damn. Comfortable.
First off, let’s talk about the precision-engineered midsole cushioning. I mean, come on, who doesn’t want super lightweight, ultra-cushioning goodness when running? It’s like walking on a cloud, but better. And the mesh upper? It’s designed with zonal support and breathability, so your feet won’t be feeling like they’re in a sauna during your workouts. We don’t need any sweaty toes up in here.
The soft EVA midsole cushioning and engineered mesh upper make these shoes perfect for any activity. Whether you’re going for a run, hitting up a dance class, or just running errands (because let’s be real, that’s a workout too), the New Balance 520v8 has got you covered.
Now, I did pay £70 for these babies at John Lewis, but... They always have sales going on, so if you’re patient unlike me, you can snag them for an even better price. You could probably get them cheaper somewhere else but I don't like buying my shoes from random places online because they could be fakes.
So, if you’re looking for a pair of shoes that will take your workout game to the next level, look no further than the New Balance 520v8 Running Shoes for Men. They’re comfortable, stylish, and will make you feel like Usain Bolt. So go ahead, treat yourself... 😋
#2 Men’s Under Armour Charged Engage 2 Cross Trainers
Well, well, well, what do we have here? The Under Armour Charged Engage trainers, huh? Let's see if these babies can live up to the hype.
First things first, the product description talks a big game about these shoes being lightweight and breathable. And let me tell you, they ain't lying. My feet were feeling fresh and cool as a cucumber during my workout. Plus, the webbing at the forefoot kept my feet secure during sports. No slipping and sliding for this guy!
But let's talk about the real winning feature of these shoes - the Charged Cushioning® midsole. It's like walking on a cloud, I kid you not. And the compression-moulded foam is definitely helping me get that extra 1% I need to push through my workouts. And with the multi-directional traction pattern on the full rubber outsole, I'm never slipping or sliding. It's like these shoes were made for me!
But, and there's always a but, I do have one big issue with these shoes. I ordered them online from John Lewis and the colour representation is a complete joke. The black shoes in the picture looked amazing, but what I got looks off and not exactly what I thought I was gonna be gettin. Other reviewers seem to agree with me on this one. Come on Under Armour, you can do better than this!
Overall, the Under Armour Charged Engage trainers are definitely worth the investment. Just make sure you see the shoes in person before you buy them online. These shoes will take your workout to the next level and have you feeling like a boss. So go ahead, treat yo self and get these trainers!

#3 Men’s ASICS GEL-KAYANO 29 Running Shoes
Yeah, I know they’re kind of expensive at £175, but let me tell you, they are worth every penny!
First off, the external heel support on these bad boys provides a snug fit and improved rearfoot stability. And don’t even get me started on the innovative FF BLAST™ PLUS cushioning that enhances shock absorption while maintaining a lightweight design. It’ll have you feeling like you’re walking on clouds!
These shoes also feature a mesh upper that increases breathability and allows your foot to flex naturally. And the AHARPLUS™ heel improves the outsole durability, so you won’t have to worry about these shoes falling apart on you mid-run.
And if you’re looking for some extra comfort over long distances, the rearfoot and forefoot GEL cushioning has got you covered. Trust me, you won’t even feel like you’ve been running for miles!
But... with such a high price tag, I would only recommend them to serious runners or athletes. The LITETRUSS™ stability feature placed on the midsole’s inside angle helps keep your foot from rolling too far inward during your stride, but amateurs won’t really feel much of a difference.
So, if you’re ready to take your running game to the next level, these ASICS GEL-KAYANO 29 Men's Running Shoes are the way to go. And who knows, maybe you’ll even feel like you will run a few milliseconds faster!

#4 Men’s Under Armour Charged Bandit 2 Trail Running Shoes
Hey guys, I just wanted to share my thoughts on the Under Armour Charged Bandit running shoes. These shoes are not messing around. They promise to revolutionize your running experience and boy, do they deliver.
First off, the design is literally a masterpiece. The two-toned mesh upper not only looks cool, but it also enhances ventilation and allows your foot to flex naturally during take off. This means less energy loss and more power in each stride. Plus, the Charged Cushioning midsole is a game-changer in itself. It's dual-layered for the perfect blend of support and comfort, so you can say goodbye to foot pains and hello to a pain-free run.
But what really sold me on these shoes are the well placed "flex grooves". They allow for proper flexibility in key areas and accommodate the separate movement of the forefoot and heel. This means you don't have to sacrifice natural movement for support, which is perfect for running on rough terrain which I love to do.
And to top it all off, the moulded Comfort Collar locks in your heel for minimal distractions. With these shoes, you'll have all the tools you need to smash your personal best and achieve your running goals like never before. Trust me, these shoes are a game-changer and £80 is a total bargain for these shoes.

#5 Men’s Under Armour Charged Vantage 2 Running Shoes
These Under Armour Charged Vantage 2 Men's Running Shoes are a right treat, let me tell you. And at £71.00, they're a steal! If you're a runner who's been dealing with shin splints, then these shoes are a must-have in my honest opinion.
Let's talk features, shall we? These shoes have a neutral profile for runners who need a balance of flexibility and cushioning. The Charged Cushioning® midsole is made of compression-molded foam for ultimate responsiveness and durability. And the solid rubber outsole covers high-impact zones for greater durability with less weight. Plus, there are anatomically placed, deep flex grooves that offer extra flexibility in key areas.
But enough chit-chat about the specs. Let me tell you about my personal experience with these shoes. First off, they look great. And when I slipped them on, they fit like a glove - or should I say, like a bug in a rug. The sizing is spot-on, and they felt fantastic. I took them on a quick run around the block, and to my amazement, my shin splints were almost completely gone after only wearing them once. Talk about a game-changer! These shoes are a significant improvement over my previous pair.
And if that wasn't enough, I was able to snag them at a fantastic discount. Who doesn't love a good deal? The only downside was the shipping time. If you choose the free shipping option, make sure to order well in advance of your desired delivery date. It took about 12 days for them to arrive, which was a bit longer than I expected. But hey, good things come to those who wait, right?
Now, I haven't put a significant amount of mileage on these shoes yet, but so far, I'm quite pleased with their performance. Overall, I would highly recommend these shoes to any runners out there who are struggling with shin splints like I was. These shoes are the real deal!

#7 Men’s ASICS Novablast 3 Running Shoes
Are you ready to take your running to the next level? Then you best get your hands on the NOVABLAST™ by ASICS. It's like they've taken the trampoline from your backyard and slapped it on the bottom of your shoe. You'll feel like you're bouncing on clouds with every step you take... and these bad boys only cost £135!!! 😆
I upgraded from my old pair of Brooks, and let me tell you, the difference is night and day. The Novablast has changed the game for me. I wear size 11 in both pairs, and the Novablast is so much better. The wider base of the outsole gives me better balance, so I can take on those long distance runs with ease. And the FF BLAST™ technology? Makes them so soft and comfortable you'll never want to take these shoes off.
The mesh upper is like a breath of fresh air for your feet. You won't be sweating buckets in these bad boys. You'll feel like the wind is blowing right through your toes. And the gusseted tongue? Means no more sliding and slipping. These shoes will stay put, so you can focus on your run.

#8 adidas Vs Pace 2.0 Men’s Trainers
If you're looking for some trainers that won't break the bank, then you might want to give the adidas Vs Pace 2.0 Men's Trainers a try. These bad boys come in at a cool £45.00 and are available in either grey or black. But, if you're planning on doing a bit of outdoor running, I'd definitely recommend going for the black option. I learned that lesson the hard way when I wrecked a brand new pair of running shoes within minutes of putting them on for the first time. There was a giant puddle that I didn't see, and splat! Mud everywhere. Lesson learned. 😣
Now, these trainers might not be the fanciest shoes on the market, but they do have the classic adidas 3-Stripes on the sides and a vulcanised look. The rubber outsole provides some decent grip, and the synthetic nubuck upper offers up some comfort and flexibility. Plus, there's a heel pull to make them easy to slip on and off. And I gotta say, there's some good bounce to these shoes. They're not perfect, but they're definitely comfortable enough to wear for a run or a workout.
These shoes are made with a series of recycled materials, so the upper features at least 50% recycled content. That's pretty impressive, if you ask me. It's nice to see that adidas is making an effort to fight plastic waste and do their part for the environment. So, if you're in the market for a pair of budget-friendly trainers that also happen to be eco-friendly, then the adidas Vs Pace 2.0 Men's Trainers might just be what you're looking for. 👍
