Well, well, well folks, let me tell you about the new Fresh Foam Cruz v2 Sport running shoes from New Balance. These shoes are about as useful as a chocolate teapot. I mean, seriously, what were they thinking? I shelled out a whopping £75 for these bad boys and boy, did I get ripped off.
Let’s start with the most obvious problem, the comfort level. Or should I say, the lack of comfort level. These shoes are so bad, you can literally feel every shock and jolt when you run. And don’t even get me started on the foot pain that comes afterward. It’s like they were designed to give you the worst running experience of your life.
And let’s talk about the quality, or again, the lack of quality. These shoes are cheaply put together and I just cannot see them standing the test of time at all. I mean, come on New Balance, we’re not all made of money. If I’m going to spend £75 on a pair of running shoes, I expect them to last longer than a Kardashian marriage.
But wait, it gets worse. The fitting of these shoes is also quite bad. Despite buying the size I always buy, these shoes are quite tight and cause my feet to rub against the sides. I mean, I don’t have particularly wide feet or anything, but these shoes make me feel like I’m Cinderella’s stepsister trying to cram my foot into a tiny glass slipper. It’s just not a good look.
So, what’s the verdict? I’m sending my pair straight back to New Balance. I’d rather run barefoot than subject my feet to this kind of torture. New Balance, you need to go back to the drawing board with these shoes and come up with something that doesn’t make me want to curse your name every time I take a step.
I got the same pair and they are really good. Are you sure you bought them from a legit site? I know there are lots of counterfeit websites online which pretend to be new balance but arent?
New Balance has really gone down in quality in recent years.
