  1. I think these are just great! They have helped tremendously at reducing my foot pain and now really I wouldn’t go without having them in my shoes. I find them just as good if not better than superfeet insoles! Plus they are a lot more affordable compared to other brands which is great news for your wallet as forking out constantly every couple of months for new pairs of insoles can start to get quite costly.

They really helped my plantar fasciitis, I used to be in such agony but the arch support on those things really helped and now I am back running again.

  2. I have had plantar fasciitis for a couple of MONTHS now. No matter what I do it just doesn’t seem to want to ease. Some days are better than others depending upon how active I am but most of the time my feet feel like they are on fire. Does any one have anyone have any experience of getting rid of plantar fasciitis and making sure it doesn’t come back? What do you do? Thanks!

    • First check with your doc that it is plantar fasciitis if you haven’t already. After that it’s gentle stretching of the lower leg, soft soled supportive shoes (flat skate style shoes with moulded foam soles suit me best though my problem these days is heel pain, probably related to earlier bouts of PF) and not doing the things that aggravate it until it’s healed. Painkillers will help you keep doing whatever triggered it but in my experience you’re just delaying the healing, find something else you enjoy doing while your feet heal.

      • Thanks for your reply, I went to see my GP a few weeks ago who confirmed it was the beginnings of plantar fasciitis and told me to rest my feet to stop it from getting worse… since then it has gotten a lot worse. My job required me to do a lot of walking and standing around which I think has caused it to get worse.. but this is unavoidable unless I quit my job which would be really bad for me :/

        • Find some shoes and or insoles that help and speak to your work about the problem, find strategies to take some of the strain off. Speak to your employer, ask about lighter duties or reassignment for a while or rubber matting where you work and a workstation stool or whatever is appropriate to your job and might help, as you say, the other option is ultimately you not doing your job either off sick or forced to quit. There are certain motions, twisting on the ball of the foot, moving away when you’ve been stood a while, walking on sand etc that triggered pain in my feet, I presume pain is synonymous with further damage. Figure out what’s causing your pain and consciously try to avoid those motions or develop strategies to help like stretching the foot and calf a little before moving off.

          I’ve lived with foot pain for the better part of 20 years now, nowhere near as exquisite as a PF flare up but the dull ache in my heels, when stood for an hour on hard surfaces, is ever present whatever I do. Realistically I’d struggle to do a job that required a lot of standing.

    • Same boat here, need to rest it but there is no way to do that and work.

      I tried lots of different insoles for my boots until I found a pair of Footrevivers that helped. Private physio gave me some stretches. Standing on a step with just my toes on the step and the rest of my foot hanging off and doing 10 lifts, toes stay on the step and lift the heel followed by 10 heel drops down below the step. Also putting my heel on the floor and toes against a wall and sort of pressing into it. After 2 years the pain is still there but it’s not as bad and doesn’t impact on my life anymore.

      For me prescribed insoles, cushioned shoes Nike pegasus, toe stretch, pulling toes back to stretch the pf. Esp first thing. Avoiding walking on hard surfaces with the affected foot.

      Slow return to activities.

    • I found I had to wear walking boots for just about everything for a while for me Footreviver insoles were good (but this seems to be entirely personal). After the worst was over, I wore approach style shoes with good (for me) foot support for everything.

      Above all, though, regular and gentle stretches, for example, put the front of your foot on a slight raise, heel on the floor and gently push forward.

      Sympathies. Months doesn’t seem to be abnormal.

    • I had it for a while and I followed similar stretching plans that everyone else is suggesting too, it helped but ultimately I invested a couple of quid for a splint that you wear at night in bed which helps keep the foot in a stretched position, it worked wonders for me and now if I start feeling the twinge I dig out the splint and wear it for a couple of days.
